Ditch the "I'm bad with money" story — for good
Understand where it came from, and why it was never actually true.
Get clear on what you actually want (and why it matters)
Build goals around your real life, not someone else
Stop repeating the money patterns you grew up with
Rewrite your story on your own terms, without the therapy-speak.
You're not actually bad with money.
You've just never been taught.
No one sat us down and explained any of this. We just hit adulthood and were somehow supposed to know how to handle our finances, as if a "Money Stuff 101" book came with our first payslip.
So when things feel hard, or messy, or like everyone else has it figured out and you don't, it's easy to land on the conclusion that something must be wrong with you.
I want you to hear me when I say this: there is no shame here.
The way money feels for you right now didn't come from nowhere. It came from what you saw growing up, what was modelled (or wasn't), the bits you picked up along the way and the bits you definitely didn't. That's a money story, and the good news is, money stories can be rewritten.
Think of this like sitting down with a friend over coffee.
A friend who happens to have spent 25 years inside finance, who has seen the inside of the big banks, and who walked away because the way women were being spoken to about money was, frankly, rubbish. That friend is me. And this is the conversation I wish someone had sat me down for years ago.
Hi, I'm Kylie
I spent 25 years inside finance, working at the big banks, getting my Diploma in Financial Planning, and watching from the inside as women were spoken to about money in ways that ranged from condescending to genuinely awful. I co-founded a wealth business, helped a lot of people, and eventually realised the women I most wanted to help weren't sitting in adviser offices. They were sitting at home thinking they were the problem.
So I built The Money Brew. Think of me as your best financial friend; the one who has the credentials but uses none of the jargon, and who would much rather have this conversation over coffee than across a polished mahogany desk.

Brew Your Money Mindset
Brew Your Money Mindset is a 5-lesson mini-course that gently walks you through the why behind your money behaviour, before anyone starts shoving spreadsheets at you.
We unpack the money story you've been carrying (often without realising), look at where it came from, and start the work of rewriting it into something that actually serves you.
No judgement, no fluff, no shame. Just a proper coffee-and-friend conversation about the stuff that's quietly running the show.
